Switzerland

Switzerland is one of those countries with postcard beauty at every turn in the road. On this particular trip we took scenic trains throughout the country that included the Bernina Express, Glacier Express, Gornergrat Railway and the Jungfrau Railway. These trains take you through the fertile valleys to the tops of the Swiss Alps, the Jungfrau Railway will take you to the highest railway station in Europe. This trip included the cities of Zurich, Montreux, St. Moritz, Zermatt and Lucerne. The highlight for me was the opportunity to hike at the base of the Matterhorn. We were very fortunate to have a clear day and an unobstructed view of the famous mountain. An unforgettable experience, Switzerland should be on every travelers bucket list.
