Serengeti / South Africa
The Serengeti ecosystem covers an area of 12,000 square miles in northern Tanzania hosting the second largest mammal migration in the world. Known for its large lion population along with wildebeest, cheetah, gazelles, zebras, giraffe, cape buffalo, rhino and elephants are some of the large mammals found here. During our visit to South Africa, we spent most of our time in Cape Town, the southern coast and the island of Zanzibar. The scenery along the sountern coast of South Africa is stunning with beautiful beaches and mountain backdrops.
